Dekita!

Aaron Campbell, Rudolf Ammann and I have just launched Dekita after a very productive month of heated discussions :-) and intense collaboration.

Dekita.org will highlight the Web-publishing work of EFL (English as a Foreign Language)/ESL (English as a Second Language) students, showcase the classroom Web-publishing projects in EFL /ESL and introduce links relevant to personal Web-publishing in language learning contexts. Dekita.org will also serve as a means for learners, educators, and other interested people to locate student Web-publications and participate in the conversation.

Join us at Dekita and send us your suggestions, comments and most important of all, tell us about the projects you have been developing with your students. You or some of your students may also become regular contributors! Contact us!

What a great idea! and the site design is very clean and appealing. Good work guys. What software is running the backend?

I'll definately add it to my watch list.

Thanks, Blinger. The software is described in the about pages :-)

"The site is put together in mostly valid XHTML 1.0 and CSS, runs on Textpattern and is hosted with Textdrive"

And you are definitely welcome to add it to your watch list!
